Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup blackberries, pureed
  • 1 tbsp gelatin
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
  • Fresh berries (for garnish)
  • Edible violets (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: Crush the chocolate cookies and combine with melted butter. Press into dessert cups and refrigerate.
  2. Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the Blackberries: Puree blackberries and mix into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Whip the Cream: Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form and fold into the blackberry mixture.
  5. Dissolve Gelatin: Dissolve gelatin in water and add to mixture.
  6. Assemble the Dessert: Pour mousse over the crust in cups, smooth the top, and chill for 4 hours.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Drizzle melted white chocolate on top and garnish with fresh berries and violets. Serve chilled.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for up to 4 days. Avoid garnishing until ready to serve.
