A quick and safe-to-eat no bake edible cookie dough with pantry staples and customizable mix-ins.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Microwave the flour in a bowl for 1 minute, stirring halfway through. Let it cool.
2. Cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
3. Stir in the milk and vanilla.
4. Add the cooled flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
5. Fold in chocolate chips (and any extras you like).
6. Scoop and enjoy, or chill for bite-sized dough balls.
Notes
Make it dairy-free with plant-based butter and non-dairy milk.
Swap in gluten-free flour (still heat-treat it).
Add flavor twists like peanut butter, cinnamon, or sprinkles.
