Description
Tender chicken, loads of garlic, and ooey-gooey melted cheese wrapped in a tortilla for the ultimate quick comfort food.
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced or shredded
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese (optional)
4–5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley or chives
Salt and black pepper, to taste
6–8 large flour tortillas
Optional: ranch dressing, marinara sauce, or sour cream for dipping
Instructions
1. Dice chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook in a skillet with a little olive oil until cooked through. (If using pre-cooked chicken, shred or dice it.)
2. Mix chicken with minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
3. Add mozzarella, cheddar, and cream cheese (if using). Stir until melty and well combined.
4. Lay a tortilla flat, spoon filling into center, fold sides, then roll tightly. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
5. For pan-fried wraps: Cook seam-side down in a non-stick skillet over medium heat, 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and cheese is melted.
6. For baked wraps: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), place wraps on baking sheet, and bake 8-10 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
Notes
Add spice with cayenne, red pepper flakes, or jalapeño.
Mix in veggies like bell peppers, spinach, or corn.
Try BBQ sauce with ranch for a fusion twist.
Use Italian seasoning and serve with marinara for dipping.
