Description

A quick and healthy side dish, Oven-Roasted Green Beans are flavorful and crispy, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, freshly grated
  • 1/2 a lemon, juice
  • 12 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (to garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (about 200°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the trimmed green beans on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the green beans and toss to coat.
  5. Spread the green beans in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans.
  7. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes until lightly browned and fork-tender.
  8. Squeeze lemon juice over the finished green beans and garnish with parsley.
  9. Serve hot.
