A quick and healthy side dish, Oven-Roasted Green Beans are flavorful and crispy, perfect for any meal.

- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup parmesan, freshly grated
- 1/2 a lemon, juice
- 1–2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (to garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (about 200°C).
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the trimmed green beans on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the green beans and toss to coat.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans.
- Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes until lightly browned and fork-tender.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the finished green beans and garnish with parsley.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh green beans and consider adding complementary spices.
