Instructions

- Spread chopped pecans evenly on a baking sheet and toast for 8-10 minutes until fragrant.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt; stir over medium heat until boiling.
- Let the mixture boil for 4-5 minutes until it reaches a light amber color, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the vanilla extract cautiously.
- Mix in the toasted pecans until fully coated.
- Pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it evenly.
- Allow to cool completely, then break into pieces.
