Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup jarred pimentos, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, pimentos, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Prepare the puff pastry: Roll out and cut the pastry into 3×3 inch squares.
  4. Fill the pastry: Spoon the pimento cheese mixture into the center of each square.
  5. Seal the bites: Fold corners over the filling and pinch edges to seal tightly.
  6. Egg wash: Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden color.
  7. Bake: Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool and serve: Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm or at room temperature.
