Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 7-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the green beans and a splash of water. Cover and steam for about 5 minutes until tender.
  6. Drizzle lemon juice over green beans before serving.
  7. Serve the chicken alongside the green beans.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the chicken to prevent dryness. Marinate chicken for extra flavor.
