Ingredients

- 4 flour tortillas (6 inches)
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil (vegetable, canola, or avocado)
- 4 slices American cheese (or preferred cheese)
- 1 small onion, diced
- Dill pickle chips
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
Instructions
- Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions.
- Spread one portion of beef over each tortilla, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the oil.
- Cook each tortilla meat-side down for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the tortillas and add a slice of cheese to each. Cook for another 1-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and repeat the process for the remaining tacos.
- Assemble the tacos by adding your preferred sauce, lettuce, diced onions, and pickle chips.
Notes
Store leftover components separately in airtight containers for up to 2-3 days. Reheat beef in a skillet and quickly re-toast tortillas before serving.
