- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, ground beef mixture, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Ensure noodles are cooked al dente as they will continue cooking while baking. Consider adding spices for extra flavor.
