Description

Delightful bite-sized pinwheels filled with creamy spinach dip, perfect for parties or casual snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag frozen chopped spinach (10 oz) – thawed and drained
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 oz) – softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 sheet puff pastry – thawed but still cold
  • 1 egg – for brushing

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Squeeze and drain the thawed spinach, then mix into the bowl until smooth.
  2. On a floured surface, unroll the puff pastry and spread the spinach mixture evenly, leaving one long side empty. Roll tightly like a jelly roll.
  3. Wrap the rolled pastry in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Slice the chilled log into half-inch rounds and place on a lined baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can experiment with different cheeses or add chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
