Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes (if using) until combined.
  2. Toss chicken pieces in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  4. Pour sauce over chicken and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet, toss together until mixed.
  7. Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, consider swapping chicken for tofu or another protein. Agave syrup can be used instead of honey for a vegan twist.
