- 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank steak)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the steak pieces to the marinade, coat well, and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil to prevent sticking.
- Add the marinated steak bites to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking.
- Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve warm.
Notes
For gluten-free, substitute soy sauce with a gluten-free alternative. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
