Description

Delightful bite-sized tiramisu truffles, rich in coffee and creamy flavors, perfect for parties or a sweet treat at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon espresso or strong coffee (cooled)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder (plus extra for dusting)
  • 1/2 cup ladyfinger crumbs (or graham crackers)
  • 8 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate (for coating)
  • 2 oz white chocolate (optional drizzle)
  • Mini chocolate chips (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, espresso, and cocoa powder until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently stir in the ladyfinger crumbs until thick.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  4. Roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Freeze the truffles for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate and coat each truffle, tapping off excess chocolate.
  7. Drizzle with white chocolate and sprinkle mini chocolate chips, if desired.
  8. Dust with cocoa powder before the chocolate sets.
  9. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes until firm.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 2 months.
