Ingredients

- 350 ml Whole Milk
- 500 ml Double Cream
- 300 g Dark Chocolate
- 4 tbsp Icing Sugar
Instructions
- Lightly whip 60% of your double cream until you have very soft peaks and set it aside in a cool place.
- Roughly chop the chocolate.
- In a saucepan, place the milk, icing sugar, and the remaining double cream. Gently warm over medium heat.
- Add the chopped chocolate and reduce the heat to low.
- Stir for a couple of minutes until the chocolate has completely melted and mixed well, creating a hot chocolate with a glossy appearance.
- Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top each with a spoon of the whipped cream.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Best served warm with toppings like chocolate shavings, marshmallows, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder. Pairs well with cookies or cake.
