Description

Baked Chicken Parmesan is a delicious twist on the classic Italian dish, featuring tender chicken with savory marinara sauce and gooey mozzarella, all baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and pour marinara sauce over each piece of chicken.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
