- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and pour marinara sauce over each piece of chicken.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot.
