Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream or ice cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Arrange the sliced bananas on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  6. Pour the batter over the bananas evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly and serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes
