- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup cooked BBQ chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Butter for spreading
- Optional: Pickles, onions, or other toppings
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Layer shredded BBQ chicken and cheese on top.
- Add any optional toppings if desired.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
- Grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich and grill the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and enjoy.
Notes
Use a non-stick skillet to prevent sticking. Mix different cheeses for added flavor. Keep an eye on the bread to prevent burning.
