Description

A fun and tasty twist on the classic grilled cheese, combining rich BBQ chicken with melted cheese for a gooey, satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup cooked BBQ chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Butter for spreading
  • Optional: Pickles, onions, or other toppings

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer shredded BBQ chicken and cheese on top.
  5. Add any optional toppings if desired.
  6. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
  7. Grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Flip the sandwich and grill the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  9. Remove from skillet, slice, and enjoy.

Notes

Use a non-stick skillet to prevent sticking. Mix different cheeses for added flavor. Keep an eye on the bread to prevent burning.
