Delicious and easy crockpot BBQ chicken that comes out tender and soaked in flavorful barbecue sauce, perfect for various dishes.

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, with fat trimmed off
- 1 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Spray the inside of a large crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
- Season your trimmed chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, and place them in the bottom of your crockpot.
- Add barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, light brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a mixing bowl, and whisk until combined.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, place the lid on the crockpot, and cook on high for 150-180 minutes or low for 300-360 minutes.
- Check the chicken temperature to ensure it reaches 165°F.
- Shred the chicken or serve whole, then enjoy on buns or as a topping for various dishes.
Notes
For a spicier version, add hot sauce to the BBQ sauce mixture. You can also prepare the chicken and sauce in advance.
