- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup blackberry jam or preserves (warmed slightly) or ½ cup fresh blackberries mashed with 1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions

- Beat the softened cream cheese with sugar, one egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Spread this cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
- Spoon dollops of warmed blackberry jam or mashed blackberries over the cheesecake layer and create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the center is just set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before slicing.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is softened for a smooth texture. Do not skip the chilling time for easier cutting.
