A rich and creamy blackberry mousse that brings delightful summer flavors to your dessert table.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh blackberries (plus extra for garnish)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (chilled)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Combine blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 5–7 minutes until softened.
- Blend the mixture until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds. Let cool to room temperature.
- Whip the chilled heavy cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
- Add vanilla extract and powdered sugar, then continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the cooled blackberry purée into the whipped cream gently.
- Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
- Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes until set.
- Garnish with fresh blackberries and mint leaves before serving.
Notes
Use fresh blackberries for best flavor. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days.
