Description

A delightful and easy dish combining tender chicken breast, juicy cherry tomatoes, and aromatic basil, all tossed with pasta and topped with Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of chicken breast
  • 8 ounces of pasta (such as penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet, cooking until browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes to the same skillet, sautéing until the tomatoes begin to soften.
  5. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  6. Add the pasta, chopped basil, and cooked chicken back to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  7. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, especially the basil and tomatoes. Don’t overcook the chicken for juiciness.
