- 1 pound of chicken breast
- 8 ounces of pasta (such as penne or fusilli)
- 2 cups of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup of fresh basil, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet, cooking until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes to the same skillet, sautéing until the tomatoes begin to soften.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
- Add the pasta, chopped basil, and cooked chicken back to the skillet, tossing to combine.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, especially the basil and tomatoes. Don’t overcook the chicken for juiciness.
