Description

A fresh and crunchy salad combining shredded cabbage and julienned carrots, dressed with a creamy mayonnaise and Dijon mustard blend.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small head of green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 large carrots, julienned
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded cabbage and julienned carrots in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper in a separate small bowl until well blended.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Let the salad sit for about 10-15 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add diced bell peppers or celery. For a lighter dressing, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
