Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Cheesy Taco Sticks, perfect for gatherings or a quick snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of taco seasoning
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing
  • Optional toppings: salsa, sour cream, guacamole

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning, bell peppers, and onions to the meat and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture on each triangle and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point to form sticks.
  7. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with optional toppings.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, consider using black beans or lentils instead of meat. Feel free to mix in other ingredients like olives, jalapeños, or corn for added flavors.
