Ingredients

- 1 package of taco seasoning
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- Cooking spray or oil for greasing
- Optional toppings: salsa, sour cream, guacamole
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning, bell peppers, and onions to the meat and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture on each triangle and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point to form sticks.
- Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with optional toppings.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, consider using black beans or lentils instead of meat. Feel free to mix in other ingredients like olives, jalapeños, or corn for added flavors.
