Description

A delicious and easy Chicken Caesar Wrap combining classic Caesar salad flavors with the convenience of a wrap.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas (1012 inch)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 1.5 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded)
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, shaved or grated
  • 34 tablespoons Caesar dressing (store‑bought or homemade)
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to season the chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • Optional: ½ cup croutons, lightly crushed
  • Optional: lemon wedge for finishing

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium‑high heat. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thin or shred. If using rotisserie chicken, skip this step.
  2. Warm the tortillas: Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 20–30 seconds on each side, or wrap in a damp paper towel and microwave for 15 seconds. They should be soft and easy to fold.
  3. Dress the lettuce: Toss the chopped romaine with 2 tablespoons of Caesar dressing until lightly coated. Avoid overdressing; the lettuce should be just coated, not wet.
  4. Assemble the wrap: Lay a tortilla flat. Place the dressed romaine in the center, leaving a 2-inch border around the edges. Add sliced chicken on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and, if using, the crushed croutons. If desired, squeeze a little lemon over the top.
  5. Roll and serve: Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll from the bottom up, keeping it tight. Slice in half diagonally and serve immediately, or wrap tightly in foil or parchment for later.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Best eaten within 1-2 days.
