- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (plus 1 teaspoon)
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Prepare Your Apples: Peel, core, and chop or slice the apples.
- Make the Filling: In a saucepan, add sliced apples, sugar, and water, and stir well.
- Cook the Apples: Cook mixture on medium heat for 5-7 minutes until apples soften.
- Add Spices: Stir in cinnamon to the apple mixture.
- Thicken the Filling: Mix cornstarch with water, add to filling, and stir until thick.
- Cool Filling: Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Prepare the Pan: Preheat the oven and grease a pie dish.
- Layer the Filling: Pour apple filling into the pie dish.
- Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Unroll and cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
- Arrange the Rolls: Scatter roll pieces over the apple filling.
