Instructions
- Melt the butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they begin to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add the salt and black pepper.
- Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and combined.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh mushrooms and adjust garlic to taste. Spinach or sun-dried tomatoes can be added for extra flavor.
