- 1 lb ground beef
- 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup half and half (or whole milk)
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1–2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is soft.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika; cook for another minute.
- Add butter until melted, then pour in the beef broth and let it simmer slightly.
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, drain, and reserve a little pasta water.
- Stir in the half and half (or milk) and Parmesan cheese into the sauce until smooth.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Combine the drained pasta with the sauce and toss gently to coat.
Notes
For best results, use fresh ingredients like garlic and Parmesan cheese. Cook pasta al dente to keep its texture.
