- 3 lbs Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 bunch Fresh basil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes
- 3/4 cup Chicken broth
- 1 Black pepper, freshly cracked
- 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 1 Salt
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1/3 cup Grated fresh Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken breasts until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, and oregano, bringing to a simmer.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
For added nutrition and flavor, feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms. Use half-and-half for a lighter version.
