Description

A delicious one-pan dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 bunch Fresh basil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 Black pepper, freshly cracked
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 Salt
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup Grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken breasts until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and cook until fragrant.
  5. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, and oregano, bringing to a simmer.
  6. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For added nutrition and flavor, feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms. Use half-and-half for a lighter version.
