- 4 tostada shells
- 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Hot sauce, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the tostada shells on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until crispy.
- Warm the refried beans in a saucepan over low heat.
- Spread a layer of refried beans on each tostada shell.
- Top with shredded rotisserie chicken, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, and add avocado slices, a dollop of sour cream, and garnish with cilantro.
- Serve with hot sauce if desired.
Notes
These tostadas are best served immediately while the shells are crispy and the cheese is warm.
