Description

A delicious and easy-to-make crock pot chicken dish enriched with fresh lime juice and cilantro, perfect for tacos, salads, or as a standalone meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine lime juice, chicken broth, cilantro, garlic, cumin, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a crock pot.
  2. Add chicken breasts and coat them well with the mixture.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it back into the juices.
  5. Serve over salads, in tacos, or as a main dish.
