Simple and flavorful green bean side dish made in the slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh green beans
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and trim the green beans.
- In a crock pot, combine the green beans, onion, garlic, vegetable broth, and olive oil.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 240-360 minutes or on high for 120-180 minutes until the green beans are tender.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add lemon juice or red pepper flakes. Customize with other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
