Description

A warm, cheesy dip that’s perfect for parties and gatherings, made effortlessly in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85/15), browned and drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (1 oz / 28g)
  • 32 oz processed cheese (like Velveeta), cut into cubes
  • 10 oz diced tomatoes and green chiles (Rotel), undrained
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and mix well.
  3. Add the browned ground beef, processed cheese, diced tomatoes and green chiles (with their juice), and cream cheese to the crockpot.
  4. Set the crockpot to low heat and cover.
  5. Cook for 120-180 minutes, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted and well combined.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sliced jalapeños or chopped cilantro on top before serving.
