A fun twist on classic deviled eggs, these deep-fried bites combine creamy yolks with a crispy, golden coating.

- 12 large eggs (hard-boiled and peeled)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Paprika (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
- Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise, remove yolks to a bowl, and set the whites aside.
- Dredge the egg whites in flour, dip them into the beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Fry the breaded egg whites in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, then drain on paper towels.
- Mix the egg yolks with mayonnaise, relish, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture into the fried egg whites and sprinkle with paprika before serving.
Notes
Serve warm as an appetizer with various dipping sauces. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
