- 2 cups flour
- 1–1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1–1/2 cups mashed bananas (3–5 bananas depending on size)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- In a larger bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs, and mashed bananas; mix well until smooth.
- Add the flour mixture to the banana mixture and stir just until combined to avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before cutting.
