Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Pour the chicken broth into the same skillet and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Stir in butter until melted and combined.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet, combining it with the noodles.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
