- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Pour the chicken broth into the same skillet and bring to a boil.
- Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Stir in butter until melted and combined.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet, combining it with the noodles.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
