Description

A delicious twist on summer corn, featuring garlic and Parmesan cheese for a flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cobs Fresh Corn
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by shucking the corn and removing all the silk. Rinse the cobs under cold water and set aside.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but do not let it brown.
  3. Mix together the melted butter, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using) in a large bowl.
  4. Brush the butter mixture generously over each corn cob, making sure to coat them evenly.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the corn is tender and has grill marks.
  6. Take the corn off the grill and sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese all over each cob.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh corn for best flavor. Adjust seasonings to your taste. Corn can also be baked in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes if a grill isn’t available.
