Description
A delicious twist on summer corn, featuring garlic and Parmesan cheese for a flavorful side dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cobs Fresh Corn
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
- 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by shucking the corn and removing all the silk. Rinse the cobs under cold water and set aside.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but do not let it brown.
- Mix together the melted butter, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using) in a large bowl.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over each corn cob, making sure to coat them evenly.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the corn is tender and has grill marks.
- Take the corn off the grill and sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese all over each cob.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Use fresh corn for best flavor. Adjust seasonings to your taste. Corn can also be baked in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes if a grill isn’t available.
