Description

A delicious combination of grilled cheese and burrito, perfect for lunch, dinner, or a snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain excess grease and add taco seasoning with 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Warm tortillas in a skillet on low heat or in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
  3. Lay a warm tortilla flat and layer cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and shredded cheeses. Leave space to roll it up tightly.
  4. Preheat a skillet, add a layer of shredded cheese, and place the burrito seam-side down. Grill until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  5. Let cool for a minute, slice in half and serve with chips, guacamole, or salsa.

Notes

Do not overfill the burritos for easier rolling. Experiment with different cheeses and sauces.
