Description

Delicious homemade Twinkies filled with whipped cream and topped with frosting, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate or vanilla frosting (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Twinkie pan.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Cream together the butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Mix in the dry ingredients alternately with milk until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, filling each section about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  8. Remove from the pan carefully.
  9. Fill each Twinkie with whipped cream using a piping bag.
