- 2 Chicken cutlets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking oil for frying
- 2 cups Cooked rice
- 4 tbsp Tonkatsu sauce
- 2 Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the pan and let drain on paper towels.
- Serve the cutlets over fluffy rice and drizzle with tonkatsu sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying cutlets. Use panko for a crunchier texture. Experiment with dipping sauces or add vegetables.
