- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well blended. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form the crust.
- Mix sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest in another bowl until smooth.
- Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the lemon mixture.
- Pour the lemon filling over the crust, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled, garnished with additional lemon zest if desired.
Notes
For a firmer texture, let it set in the refrigerator overnight. Use fresh lemons for the best flavor.
