- 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the whole milk, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with lemon juice until smooth and drizzle over the cooled loaf.
