Description

A comforting and flavorful one-pot pasta dish featuring a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or leisurely family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or penne)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup water
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the milk and water.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Once boiling, add the pasta, salt, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Stir occasionally while cooking until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  5. In a separate skillet, heat the butter (or olive oil) over medium heat.
  6. Add in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  7. When the pasta is ready, lower the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Wait until the cheese is fully melted and combined.
  9. Adjust the seasonings to taste.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil for an extra touch of flavor.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge. For longer storage, freeze for 1-2 months.
