Description

A quick and comforting one pot meal featuring buttery garlic and creamy Parmesan pasta, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups whole or 2% milk
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the pasta, ensuring it’s well-coated with the butter.
  4. Pour in enough water or broth to cover the pasta and bring to a rapid boil.
  5. Lower the heat and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
  6. Pour in the milk and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese continuously until creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  8. If desired, finish with chopped parsley for freshness.

Notes

For a lighter version, try using dairy alternatives. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
