- 2 cups whole or 2% milk
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- Stir in the pasta, ensuring it’s well-coated with the butter.
- Pour in enough water or broth to cover the pasta and bring to a rapid boil.
- Lower the heat and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
- Pour in the milk and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese continuously until creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- If desired, finish with chopped parsley for freshness.
