Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine frozen peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  3. Mix flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth in another bowl.
  4. Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish, then pour the batter on top.
  5. Bake for 40-50 minutes until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use fresh peaches in season. Adjust sugar if peaches are very ripe. Add a pinch of nutmeg for added flavor.
