- 4 cups frozen peaches
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine frozen peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl.
- Mix flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth in another bowl.
- Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish, then pour the batter on top.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use fresh peaches in season. Adjust sugar if peaches are very ripe. Add a pinch of nutmeg for added flavor.
