Description

A refreshing drink combining the sweetness of fresh peaches with smooth tea, perfect for warm days.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black tea or green tea)
  • 1 cup fresh peaches, diced
  • 1 cup water (for syrup)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • Peach slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the diced peaches and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Strain the syrup into a jar and let it cool.
  2. Boil 4 cups of water and steep the tea bags for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you want the tea. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool.
  3. Combine the cooled tea and syrup in a pitcher. Adjust sweetness with more syrup if necessary.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with peach slices.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for the best flavor. Experiment with different tea types to find your favorite.
