Description

These soft and chewy truffles combine creamy caramel and rich chocolate, topped with flaky sea salt for a perfect sweet and salty treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine caramel sauce and sweetened condensed milk over medium heat, stirring until smooth and thickened.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract until fully blended.
  3. Cool the mixture slightly, then refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm.
  4. Scoop out portions and roll into 1-inch balls.
  5. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dip the caramel balls into melted chocolate, using a fork to allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  7. Place dipped truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt before the chocolate sets.
  8. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, approximately 30 minutes.

Notes

Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
