Description
These soft and chewy truffles combine creamy caramel and rich chocolate, topped with flaky sea salt for a perfect sweet and salty treat.
Ingredients

- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 2 cups sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Flaky sea salt for topping
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine caramel sauce and sweetened condensed milk over medium heat, stirring until smooth and thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract until fully blended.
- Cool the mixture slightly, then refrigerate for about 1 hour or until firm.
- Scoop out portions and roll into 1-inch balls.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip the caramel balls into melted chocolate, using a fork to allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place dipped truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, approximately 30 minutes.
Notes
Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
