Description

A fun and delicious salad combining crunchy Doritos with tasty taco ingredients, perfect for any meal or gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Doritos
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup corn, frozen or canned
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the fat, then add the taco seasoning and water according to the package instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, black beans, corn, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and red onion.
  3. Just before serving, add the Doritos and gently toss to combine.
  4. Serve with salsa and sour cream on the side.

Notes

For a healthier option, use ground turkey or chicken. You can add other veggies like bell peppers or cucumbers for extra crunch.
