Description

A delicious dish featuring chicken breasts topped with cheese, bacon, and a creamy sauce, inspired by Outback Steakhouse.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts (horizontally sliced in half)
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp stone-ground mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the mayo, honey, and stone-ground mustard together.
  4. Spread this mixture evenly over each piece of chicken.
  5. Cook the chicken in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and sprinkle a slice of bacon and plenty of Monterey Jack cheese on top.
  7. Return the chicken to the oven for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with a side of steamed vegetables, baked potatoes, or a fresh garden salad. Drizzle with extra honey mustard sauce for added flavor. Optional seasoning includes salt, pepper, garlic powder, or paprika.
