Foil Pack Philly Cheesesteak Dinners are a fun and easy meal perfect for any night of the week, packed with flavors and customizable toppings.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef 80/20
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup green pepper, cut into 1/2" pieces
- 4 cups potatoes (approx. 2 potatoes), diced into 1/2" pieces
- 1 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 4 slices of provolone, Swiss cheese, or American white processed cheese
- 4 tsp steak seasoning blend (or 2 tsp garlic salt or kosher salt)
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cut 8 foil sheets about 14" x 10". If the foil is flimsy, use a double layer.
- Lay 4 of the sheets out and spray with nonstick spray.
- Divide the ingredients between the 4 packets, placing onions, potatoes, green pepper, and mushrooms in the center.
- Crumble 1-inch pieces of raw ground beef over the vegetables.
- Sprinkle each packet with 1 teaspoon of steak seasoning blend and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper.
- Place a second sheet of foil over the top and seal the packets securely.
- Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 20-30 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
- Once cooked, carefully open the packets and place a slice of cheese on top to melt.
Notes
Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or broccoli. You can also swap the ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
