Ingredients

  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pure honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch and black pepper.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  6. Pour the sauce over the seared chicken and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
